Zoltan, and others, were still in the courtyard, across the water, to the north west of the Southern Gate, but this produced no change.Ĭhanged quests, did a few other things, etc., and when I return to "A Dangerous Game", it shows the Duke, whom I'm supposed to be chasing, further south-west of the beginning of the chase, nearly due west of the Southern Gate, about in the location (during the day) of an Eternal Fire street performer (priest). Choosing to talk with him, did nothing, and he had no motivation to go anywhere and/or interact.Īfter awhile of attempting to illicit a reaction, cut-scene, etc., I decided to go back to the area where the pursuit began, in an attempt to shake something loose, as it were. Just stopped- standing there, as any NPC on the street. When chasing Duke, in the "A Dangerous Game" mission, at one point he stopped, somewhere in the upper halls of one of the buildings I was chasing him through. I could find no other mention of this issue, at least in the PS4 sub-forum, so I apologize if this is old news. Regardless, this is an effort to report an issue/glitch/bug. I've watched the first and second game, from afar, as I am not one for gaming on my computer (anymore), but prefer the feel of the console controller, and am very thankful to finally have The Witcher, and in such an incredible form!
Just realized this after the latest play through. When you kill the captain of the prison, when you loot his body to get the key, you can also find the cards on his corpse.
My sincere congratulations on the herculean effort put into this game- it is, quite simply, incredible! SPOILER If you DON'T take them, there is an option to get the three cards when you do the quest The Great Escape.
